Gamescon 2011 and Pax-Prime 2011 Guild Wars 2 Pictures

I’d like to point out how extremely thrilled and proud I am at the extensive coverage that our fabulous krewe and friends have provided us over the past few weeks. Namely, Karasu &  MeWulf for Gamescon and Elixabeth & Kaae for Pax-Prime. If you ever catch these fine ladies and gents at a con, be sure to buy them a round for their amazing efforts. Don’t fret: there is still more to come from PAX  and there are plenty of outlets for you to find the latest and greatest in information, media, and conversation about what was seen and learned these past 2 weekends.

I thought I’d post a few of my personal favorite images from the events and share with you guys are galleries for both.     TT definitely had some of the best coverage of the summer events… and the style and timing of the coverage was superior as well.  Both at GamesCom and PAX, articles were posted DURING the actual events, and were written in such a way as to allow those of us not lucky enough to attend to still capture the “feeling” of the conventions and enjoy them vicariously through our TT representatives.

    It’s been said before but, is worthy of repeating; Thank-you to all of the folks who helped bring coverage of GamesCom and PAX to us.  It couldn’t have been easy, and you all probably lost some sleep providing it but, because of your efforts we were all able to enjoy the events more.

    Ill be adding some pictures of my own, I also have the recorded dialogue of the Big pannel where they announced Guild information for the first time. Also I got my hands on the demo 6 times at the convention, 2 times on pvp, 5v5 and 8v8. I am super lucky that I was able to get so much time on the game and explore as much as I did. Also I spoke with Mr. Grubb about a certain character that plays a large part in the history of the game that I will be going over in an article that should be posted on my site and here soon. Pictures, audio and articles to come soon from me as well!

    I see that somewhat hideous NPC dialogue screen is still around (the screenie of the two charr conversing while staring awkwardly at nothing).  Hope that gets replaced with something a bit more dynamic.

      probably not much, the game will be out by then. they’ll likely have competitions for PvP, a party, and the like.
